DvT to a newcomer might look like an improvisational theatre game, a dance, a scene, a song, a conversation, running around and rolling on the floor, or just completely incoherent silliness! Unlike improvisational theatre, the goal is not to stick to a scene with clear roles and stories, but to let things constantly move and change based on the free impulses, desires, and feelings of the players, hence “transformations”.
